Dental Implants

Our dedicated team can improve your overall health with the help of dental implants.

Don’t let your missing teeth affect you any longer. Dental implants are a permanent solution to restore the function and appearance of your smile.

Missing teeth can have a huge impact on one’s health and not many people are aware of the changes their mouths can make.

Not only can missing teeth impact the function of your chew and digestion or cause low self-confidence, but it can also result in facial changes and promote bone loss.

What Is A Dental Implant?

The implant is actually a titanium screw that will be surgically attached to your jawbone. The procedure only requires local anesthesia. Once that kicks in, we’ll cut a slit in your gum line and place the titanium screw that will act as the new root of your tooth. Each patient’s case will vary, but healing time may take anywhere from three to six months for your jawbone to properly fuse with the implant.

Once that heals, you’ll visit us again so we can attach an abutment for the crown (false tooth) to stay in place! We’ll give you easy-to-follow aftercare instructions, including how to clean your teeth, look after the surgical site, and foods to avoid until you’re healed.

Once you’re healed, it’s time for another appointment so your crown can finally be attached. Crowns can be made from a few different materials, but porcelain is a popular choice in modern dentistry because of its natural appearance and durability. No one will ever be able to tell the difference!

Benefits Of Dental Implants

Dental implants can completely restore the appearance of your smile and the function of your mouth. Gaps in your mouth can cause your teeth to shift, poor ability to chew or bite food, and even eventually cause facial changes, especially in your lips and cheeks as your facial bones weaken.

A missing tooth can also increase your risk of receding gums and experiencing jawbone loss, in which case, bone grafting may need to be done beforehand. Dental implants can offer more of a long-term solution than dentures and don’t need to be readjusted or removed.

We look forward to hearing from you.
